Douglas and Beverly Bankson Scholarship in Creative Writing

Open to UBC Vancouver undergraduates who completed a Creative Writing course in first or second year, show unusual promise as a writer, and will major in Creative Writing in third year.

The award is a $1,950 scholarship. The School of Creative Writing makes the recommendation. There is no separate application.

Colleagues, friends, and former students endowed this scholarship to honour Douglas Bankson and his wife Beverly on his retirement from the Department of Creative Writing in 1985.
