Dorothy May Ladner Memorial Fellowship

Open to a UBC Vancouver graduate student doing research that could lead to effective treatment of traumatic brain injury.

A $13,000 fellowship endowed in memory of Dorothy May Ladner through a bequest by her sister Edna G. Ladner supports this research. Dorothy Ladner was among the first women from British Columbia to receive a master's degree in public health nursing and later directed the Variety Club's Children's Treatment Centre in Surrey.

Awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine. There is no separate student application.
