A $13,000 fellowship endowed in memory of Dorothy May Ladner through a bequest by her sister Edna G. Ladner supports this research. Dorothy Ladner was among the first women from British Columbia to receive a master's degree in public health nursing and later directed the Variety Club's Children's Treatment Centre in Surrey.
