About this scholarship
For an academically qualified undergraduate entering first year in any UBC Vancouver faculty who demonstrates leadership skills but would not be able to attend UBC without significant financial assistance. Only one student can hold the award at a time.
One $9,000 entrance award, renewable for up to three additional years or until the first undergraduate degree is obtained, whichever is shorter.
Candidates must be nominated by a community member or secondary school and apply through the UBC Centennial Scholars Entrance Award process. Made on the recommendation of the UBC Entrance Award Selection Committee.
