About this scholarship
Performing artists at least 30 years old from a principal minority group who are pursuing a career in the performing arts may apply for R.Evolucion Latina's Doreen Montalvo 'Do It Anyway' Scholarship. Applicants need three years of professional experience and a desire to grow as an artist.
One recipient receives $1,000. Submit a 100-word essay, headshot, resume, and performance samples by October 20.
The scholarship also includes enrollment in the Beyond Workshop Series, leadership opportunities with R.Evolucion Latina, and performance opportunities. R.Evolucion Latina created this award to honor Doreen Montalvo.
