Undergraduate juniors or seniors, or graduate students, enrolled in an accredited U.S. mental-health-related degree program with at least a 3.0 GPA from the previous semester may apply for the Do It For Donny Scholarship from the Donovan Kayne Lujan Memorial Fund.
Two awards of $2,500 are granted. Submit proof of enrollment, GPA documentation, and a 250-word essay on what motivates you to work in mental health. Applications open May 1 and close July 1.
The fund provides scholarships to budding mental health professionals to increase access to mental health assistance and help prevent suicide.

The American Psychological Foundation's David H. and Beverly A. Barlow Grant awards $7,500 to support innovative basic or clinical research on anxiety and anxiety-related disorders, conducted by graduate students and early career researchers. Applicants must be graduate students or early career researchers no more than 10 years postdoctoral, be affiliated with a nonprofit charitable, educational, or scientific institution or a governmental entity operating for charitable and educational purposes, have demonstrated knowledge of basic or clinical anxiety research, and show competence and capacity to execute the proposed work. Applications are submitted through APF's online GivingData portal with a project proposal, timeline, detailed budget and justification, and CV. The 2026 application deadline is September 18, 2026.
