About this scholarship
Don and Zola Dunbar, longtime educators and EOU alumni, established this renewable scholarship for Oregon students enrolled full time in EOU's CUESTE teacher-preparation program. The Dunbars attended Eastern Oregon College of Education in the 1940s with help from scholarships and the GI Bill. Their award supports the next generation of Oregon teachers entering the CUESTE pathway. Students apply through the EOU Foundation AwardSpring application during the annual October through March cycle. Recipients must meet donor criteria, maintain satisfactory progress, and fulfill foundation thank-you and attendance requirements if selected.
