Djavad Mowafaghian Presidential Scholar Award

For domestic students of academic distinction entering an undergraduate program at UBC Vancouver directly from secondary school or transferring from another college or university in Canada or abroad.

This is a $20,000 renewable entrance award, totaling up to $80,000 over four years, from the Djavad Mowafaghian Foundation endowment. Subject to maintaining scholarship standing, it renews for up to three additional years or until the first undergraduate degree is completed.

Selection weighs demonstrated academic and leadership achievement in the arts, community, athletics, or school. There is no separate application for this named award. Recipients are chosen on the recommendation of Enrolment Services through major entrance scholarship processes.
