About this scholarship
DeWitt Wallace Scholarships are non-need-based merit awards granted to admitted domestic students at Macalester College at the time of admission. Every first-year applicant is reviewed automatically using the admission application; a FAFSA or CSS Profile is not required for merit consideration. Award amounts are set at admission and remain fixed for up to eight semesters of full-time enrollment. Macalester does not award additional non-need-based scholarships after the initial admission decision, and there is no minimum GPA required to renew these scholarships each year.
