About this scholarship
The Destination Maize Scholarship provides automatic merit funding to incoming in-state transfer students at UM-Dearborn with a cumulative college GPA between 3.50 and 3.74 at admission. For students starting Fall 2026 and beyond, recipients receive $3,000 per year for up to six semesters. Students must be classified as Michigan residents, enroll full-time, and maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress to renew. Scholarship eligibility is determined from the GPA at the time of admission without a separate application. Re-admitted former UM-Dearborn students are not eligible for Destination transfer scholarships.
