About this scholarship
The Destination Buffalo State Grant helps out-of-state and international first-time freshmen at SUNY Buffalo State University afford non-tuition billed expenses such as fees, housing, meals, and books. All new freshmen who do not qualify for in-state tuition as New York residents and who begin in the fall are eligible; no separate application is required. The grant provides up to $9,500 per year and is renewable for four years while the student lives on campus, remains billed at out-of-state tuition rates, stays enrolled full time, and maintains a 2.25 cumulative GPA reviewed each spring.
