In-state incoming University of Maryland freshmen who apply by the November 1 early action deadline are automatically considered for the Dean's Scholarship. No separate application is required.
The award offers $1,500 for freshman year or $4,500 per year for freshman and sophomore years. It is not renewable beyond two years.
