About this scholarship
Open to graduate students in the UBC Faculty of Land and Food Systems who completed a BSc in APBI, FNH, or GRS at UBC and are proceeding to graduate studies in a field relating to the scientific basis of agriculture and food production.
The award is an $8,000 scholarship.
No separate application is required. The Faculty of Land and Food Systems recommends recipients in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
The endowment was established in 1984 by friends and former students of Dr. Warren D. Kitts on his retirement as Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.
