About this scholarship
The Dean's Scholars Award supports newly admitted first-time, full-time freshmen at SUNY Buffalo State University who enroll for the fall semester. Buffalo State automatically reviews applicants for this merit scholarship; no separate application is required. Students with a minimum high school GPA of 87 or higher may be considered for up to $2,000 per year, renewable for four years with full-time enrollment and a 2.75 cumulative GPA. Scholarship funds are limited and awarded on a competitive basis using the university's May 1 priority consideration timeline for incoming fall students.
