The Dean's Award is an automatic merit scholarship for incoming first-year in-state undergraduates at UM-Dearborn with a cumulative high school GPA of 4.00 or higher at the time of admission. Recipients receive $5,000 per year for up to eight semesters, totaling $20,000 toward tuition if renewed. Students must be classified as Michigan residents under Board of Regents rules, enroll full-time each semester, and maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA to renew. No separate scholarship application is required beyond the admission application submitted to UM-Dearborn.
