David H. Walker Prize in Creative Writing

Gifted undergraduate or graduate writers on the UNB Fredericton campus may compete for this prize.

The prize is valued at $1,000. One award is available.

Submit a sample of recent work (a short story or chapter of a novel, minimum 1,500 words) to the Department of English. Past winners are not eligible, and the work cannot have previously won an award or prize. Finalists are interviewed by the selection committee. Funded by the family of the late David H. Walker.
