About this scholarship
Endowed scholarship funded by a $100,000 gift from WVU alumni David and Linda Cooper for undergraduate students or incoming freshmen at West Virginia University majoring in or intending to major in chemical and biomedical engineering in the Statler College. The Coopers contributed $50,000 upfront so students could benefit immediately rather than waiting for endowment returns. Current Statler College students apply through the annual Statler College Scholarship Application due December 31 with a FAFSA on file by January 1. Awards are determined by Statler College officials in consultation with the WVU Office of Student Financial Aid.
