Dave Brown Memorial Thunderbird Rugby Award

Current or incoming UBC Vancouver rugby student-athletes who display exemplary leadership, strong character, and dedication to the sport may be considered.

One or more awards may range from $500 each up to the maximum allowed under athletic association regulations, funded through an endowment from UBC Rugby Alumni in memory of UBC Rugby General Manager Dave Brown. Selection is made on the recommendation of the Head Coaches of the Men's and Women's Rugby Teams with review and approval by the Athletics Award Committee; there is no separate application.

The award recognizes Dave Brown's contributions to rugby nationally and provincially and his work supporting UBC Rugby.
