Darlene J. Thomas Memorial Award in Dental Hygiene

Dental hygiene students graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Science (B.D.Sc.) at UBC's Vancouver campus are eligible for this award. One award of $1,300 is granted to a graduating student chosen for high scholastic achievement along with commitment, vision, leadership, and professionalism. There is no separate application; the award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Dentistry.

The award was endowed by colleagues and friends of Darlene J. Thomas, a driving force behind the establishment of the Dental Hygiene Degree Completion Program at UBC.
