Third- or fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce students at UBC Sauder who have demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship and outstanding leadership in student or community affairs.
The award is $8,050, endowed in honour of Daniel F. Muzyka, former Dean and Professor at Sauder from 1999 to 2012. The Faculty recommends recipients; there is no separate application.
Lead gifts from Robert T. Stewart and Gregory J. Peet, proceeds from the Le Grand Voyage Celebratory Gala, and contributions from the Sauder community funded the endowment.
