About this scholarship
Students graduating from a CSWE-accredited BSW or MSW program by summer 2027 who demonstrate commitment to racial, economic, and environmental justice in social work may apply for the Carl A. Scott Memorial Fund book scholarship. Two awards of $500 each are granted annually, one to a BSW student and one to an MSW student.
Applicants need at least a 3.0 GPA and full-time enrollment. Submit a statement of interest, a recommendation, and a short essay or three-minute video through the CSWE application portal. The fund continues Carl A. Scott's legacy of equity and social justice in social work.
