About this scholarship
The Crown Scholarship is the most prestigious award of the Illinois Institute of Technology School of Architecture, providing full tuition for five years based on first-year tuition rates. Candidates apply via Early Decision or Early Action by November 15 and submit a one-page architecture interest essay, four to twenty creative work pieces including at least one freehand drawing, and a recommendation assessing creativity and leadership. Finalists interview on campus during the Leadership Symposium in early February with studio faculty and Chicago architects. Recipients must notify the School of Architecture of acceptance by April 1 and confirm Illinois Tech enrollment by May 1.
