BC residents who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons and attend a public Canadian post-secondary institution may apply. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and a commitment to cooperative or community values. Graduate and post-graduate students are not eligible.
Bursary amounts vary. Recipients may be eligible for up to two awards per year.
Apply through Do Some Good during the Winter window (January 1 to February 15) or the Fall window (September 1 to October 15). Applications require proof of enrolment, tuition payment, transcripts, and a recent letter of reference speaking to community involvement and credit union values.
The Credit Union Foundation Bursary awards Amount varies (125 winners).
