Full-time graduate students registered in a thesis-based program at the University of Lethbridge who are CREATE program trainees may receive this matching award when employed as a CREATE Graduate Trainee. Applicants must be accepted into a CREATE program held at the University of Lethbridge. Renewal depends on satisfactory progress in the CREATE and graduate programs.

The award is $10,000 per year, renewable for up to 2 years for master's or 4 years for doctoral programs.

There is no separate application. Selection is made by the CREATE program committee and administered with the admission application.
