Students in the UBC Sauder Bachelor of Commerce and/or Diploma in Accounting programs who are from communities that have been historically, persistently, and systemically marginalized and intend to obtain the CPA designation may be considered.
Two annual awards of $2,500 each are available from the Chartered Professional Accountants Education Foundation (CPAEF) of BC.
Recipients are selected on the recommendation of the UBC Sauder School of Business. For Diploma in Accounting students, the DAP program is consulted. There is no separate application.
CPAEF supports and advances business and accounting education across BC by enhancing the quality and quantity of students entering the accounting profession.
The CPA Education Foundation of BC Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Award awards $2,500 (2 winners).
