About this scholarship
Open to a deserving international UBC Vancouver graduate student who needs travel support for research or field work in their region or country of origin. First preference goes to students associated with the Institute for the Oceans and Fisheries, then resource management, zoology, and forestry.
A $6,700 travel award endowed by Dr. Daniel Pauly and UBC supports international graduate research travel.
Awards are made on the recommendation of the Institute for the Oceans and Fisheries in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate student application.
