About this scholarship
For second- and third-year UBC Bachelor of Applied Science students in Civil, Geological, or Mining Engineering who have demonstrated leadership, curiosity, and an interest in pursuing geotechnical field work and field research.
Three awards of $1,600 each are offered by the ConeTec Education Foundation and the Woeller Family Foundation.
There is no separate student application. Awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Applied Science.
ConeTec Investigations was founded in 1985 by Mining Engineering alumnus David Woeller and provides geotechnical site investigation services across the Americas.
