About this scholarship
The Comet Transfer Scholarship at UT Dallas is automatically awarded to incoming Texas resident transfer students admitted with thirty to ninety transferable semester credit hours and a cumulative transferable GPA of 3.25 or higher. Full-time awards range from $1,500 to $5,000 per year based on GPA tier, with part-time awards available at lower amounts. At least six transferable hours must have been completed after high school graduation, excluding the summer immediately following graduation. Renewal for up to six consecutive semesters requires continuous enrollment, twelve hours per semester for full-time recipients, a 3.0 cumulative UT Dallas GPA, and Texas residency.
