About this scholarship
The College Scholar award recognizes entering first-year students with outstanding academic records and demonstrated potential to contribute to the Wooster community. To be considered, students must submit their application for admission by November 1; there is no separate scholarship application. Awards are offered with the admission decision and typically go to students with unweighted GPAs of 3.6 or higher in a rigorous curriculum, often ranking in the top 20% of their class. Recipients renew the award by maintaining good academic standing. This scholarship is not dependent on financial need.
