Continuing second- or third-year JD students in the University of Calgary Faculty of Law are eligible. Selection considers academic merit and demonstrated excellence in advocacy and mooting, evidenced by performance in the MacGillivray moot or other mooting competitions. Where a recipient participates in a moot that incurs travel and accommodation costs, the award should be used to cover those costs.
One scholarship of $2,000 is offered annually.
