About this scholarship
Incoming Alabama-resident first-generation freshmen at the University of Alabama with a 3.0 or higher high school GPA and demonstrated financial need may compete for the Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarship.
Selected scholars receive $5,000 per year, renewable for four years with a maintained 3.0 GPA. The program includes a designated general studies course and required activities.
Complete the UA Scholarship Application with first-generation essay questions by December 5 and the FAFSA by March 1. Finalists interview in spring.
