About this scholarship
The Civic Leadership Scholarship competition identifies exceptional incoming K-State freshmen who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to serving others in their community, school, or place of worship through creative projects with lasting impact. Winners receive ranked awards up to four thousand dollars in the freshman year and participate in civic leadership activities including Introduction to Leadership Concepts. Finalists must be high school seniors admitted to K-State, attend in the fall, and complete an on-campus or virtual interview. Submit the K-State scholarship application and Civic Leadership Scholarship application with letters of recommendation by December 15 at 5 p.m. CST.
