The Chuck Green Fellowship at Macalester College is a six-month civic engagement program for sophomores and juniors that combines a spring Political Science seminar with a full-time summer project at a Twin Cities community organization. Twelve fellows are selected each year and receive a six thousand six hundred dollar summer stipend to implement recommendations developed during the seminar in a consultant-client relationship with their host organization. The fellowship fulfills the Political Science practicum requirement for majors. It was established through the Chuck Green Endowed Fund for Civic Engagement by former students of Professor Chuck Green.
