Christina and Alan Eastwood Graduate Scholarship in Land and Food Systems

Open to a UBC Vancouver graduate student in Land and Food Systems with an interest in sustainable food systems.

The scholarship provides $6,000 annually from Christina and Alan Eastwood, who are retired from careers as a medical technologist and an economist and have decades of experience growing food organically. They hope the scholarship encourages young people to pursue sustainable alternatives to conventional agriculture.

Recipients are selected on the recommendation of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate student application.
