Chris Goughnour Scholarship

Latino high school seniors from underserved communities across the United States who are accepted to or enrolled in a college, technical school, or apprenticeship program in a healthcare-related field may apply for the Christopher Goughnour Scholarship through the Marie Maxey Foundation.

Awards are $1,000 each, paid directly to the student's college, technical school, or apprenticeship program in September.

Apply via the foundation's Google Form by July 15 with proof of enrollment, a 500-word essay on challenges you have overcome and your higher-education journey, a description of community involvement, and one letter of recommendation from a counselor or teacher.
