About this scholarship
The Chicano Latino Alumni Scholarship recognizes academic achievement and community service among students committed to the growth and advancement of the Chicano Latino community at UC Riverside. Applicants must reside in California, be full-time UCR students during the award year, and demonstrate community commitment. High school seniors and transfer students enrolling at UCR need a minimum 3.0 GPA in their last year; continuing undergraduates need a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA for years one and two or 3.0 for year three and beyond. One $1,000 award is offered annually through Scholarship Universe.
