About this scholarship
As a Gold-Plus Partner with the Chicago Scholars Foundation, Denison pledges to meet one hundred percent of demonstrated financial need through graduation for admitted Chicago Scholars from under-resourced Chicago communities. Scholars in the seven-year Chicago Scholars program apply to Denison through the normal admission process, and Denison provides a campus visit before enrollment confirmation plus an on-campus liaison. The partnership replaces unmet need with Denison grant aid rather than offering a fixed-dollar merit check, aligning with Denison's broader need-met commitment. Outside scholarships must still be reported and may adjust the aid package to stay within cost of attendance.
