About this scholarship
New Jersey high school seniors planning post-secondary education at a college or trade school who demonstrate advocacy for LGBTQIA+ issues and have personal experience with mental health challenges may apply for Charlie Schulz Memorial Scholarships. Two $1,000 awards are offered annually.
Submit a cover letter with contact and school details, plus a one- to two-page essay or two- to four-minute video on your mental health journey, LGBTQIA+ advocacy, and plans to help others. Optional references or art samples may be included. Email the complete application to CharlieSchulzFund@gmail.com.
The fund, supported by the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Somerset Hills and private donors, promotes diversity and inclusion for LGBTQIA+ people and those with mental health challenges.
