For an outstanding student entering first-year engineering in UBC Vancouver's Faculty of Applied Science directly from secondary school.
Two scholarships of $1,975 each are endowed by the Estate of Charles Victor Ryder. Recipients who also receive the President's Entrance Scholarship may retain both awards.
Awards are made on the recommendation of the Entrance Scholarship Committee.
