Charles and Rhoda Chollet's posthumous estate gift to the EOU Foundation generates multiple three thousand dollar per year scholarships for needy students majoring in science or education at Eastern Oregon University. The couple met and married at Eastern in the 1940s and dedicated their lives to education and scientific inquiry. Students with demonstrated financial need apply through the EOU Foundation AwardSpring application, which matches applicants to donor criteria.
