About this scholarship
The Chappell Lougee Scholarship at Stanford University funds sophomores pursuing full-time immersive summer projects in the humanities, creative arts, and qualitative social sciences under a faculty mentor. Recipients receive a $8,500 core stipend for a 10-week project between sophomore and junior year, with a possible $1,500 need-based supplement determined by the Financial Aid Office.
