About this scholarship
The Changemaker Scholars Program at Drake University is a four-year cohort helping students address societal issues through direct service, social entrepreneurship, and systems change. Accepted members receive a renewable five thousand dollar tuition scholarship each year. Applicants must gain Drake admission, hold at least a 3.0 high school GPA, and complete a separate Changemaker Scholars application by January 29. The program includes coursework in civic engagement and leadership, community site visits, hands-on projects with nonprofits and businesses, mentoring, and professional development such as the Civic Action Academy.
