About this scholarship
Central Carolina Promise Plus provides free in-state tuition and required student fees at Central Carolina Community College for Chatham County residents who graduated from high school more than two years before enrolling. Applicants must prove at least twelve continuous months of Chatham County residency with two forms of documentation and a photo ID, submit the Promise Plus application checklist, and complete the FAFSA. Priority goes to students who do not already hold a college degree, though others may apply. Each student receives funding matching full-time in-state tuition and fees for up to five semesters. Promise Plus is a last-dollar program that does not cover textbooks or other course materials.
