About this scholarship

Central Carolina Promise/K14 guarantees up to two years of free in-state tuition and required student fees at Central Carolina Community College for eligible recent high school graduates from Chatham, Harnett, and Lee counties. Students must reside in a service-area county, graduate from a public, private, charter, or homeschool program within two years of starting at CCCC, complete at least twelve college-level credit hours before fall entry, and submit the Promise/K14 application plus FAFSA and checklist items. Promise/K14 is a last-dollar award applied after federal, state, and other aid and does not cover textbooks or course materials. Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress and complete FAFSA each year to remain eligible.
