About this scholarship
The Centennial Scholarship is the flagship merit award of the Wilson College of Textiles at NC State. Up to ten incoming first-year students are selected each year based on scholarship, leadership, service, ethics, and character. Beginning fall 2026, each Centennial Scholar receives at least $20,000 per year in scholarship funding plus up to $7,500 in enrichment funds for study abroad, internships, and leadership programs. Applicants must apply for NC State admission by early action, receive a textiles endorsement, and complete the PackAssist textiles scholarship application by December 1.
