About this scholarship
For Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons entering UBC Okanagan directly from secondary school or transferring from another post-secondary institution into a first direct-entry undergraduate degree. Recipients are academically qualified students with financial need who would not be able to attend UBC without significant financial assistance. Leadership, community service, and achievement in fields such as athletics, performing arts, or academics are also considered.
Renewable entrance awards that may range up to the full cost of the student's program and living costs. Awards renew for up to three additional years or until the first undergraduate degree is obtained, whichever is shorter, subject to continued scholarship standing and annual review of academic progress and financial need.
Requires UBC admission and Entrance Award applications. Candidates must be nominated by a member of their school or community. Made on the recommendation of the Centennial Scholars Entrance Award Committee.
