Each Canadian dental faculty selects one graduating student member of the Canadian Dental Association for this leadership award.

One award is granted per faculty. Recipients must have shown outstanding leadership, scholarship, character, and humanity over four years of study.

Faculty awards committees nominate recipients on the recommendation of the Examinations Committee. No student application is required.
