Carol Lynn Smith Memorial Award in Engineering

For a third-year female undergraduate engineering student at UBC Vancouver who has achieved high academic standing with demonstrated leadership and service to the community, with preference for Civil Engineering students.

A $2,050 award is offered by family, friends, and colleagues of Carol Lynn Smith (Civil Engineering Class of 1984).

There is no separate student application. Recommendations are made by the Faculty of Applied Science.

Carol Lynn Smith was a professional traffic engineer for 23 years and a pioneer for women in engineering.
