About this scholarship

Outstanding UBC Faculty of Dentistry students (including graduate students) who demonstrate leadership, interest, and passion in community oral health care outreach locally and internationally.

Two service awards of $2,600 each (totalling $5,200).

No separate student application. Recommendations are made by the Faculty of Dentistry and, for graduate students, in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

The awards honour Dr. Carlos Carrillo, an advocate for donating time and talent to provide oral health care worldwide. Friends and family established the endowment.
