About this scholarship
The Cardinal Scholarship provides four thousand dollars per year for up to four years toward a first bachelor's degree at Saginaw Valley State University. It is granted to first-time-in-college high school seniors with a cumulative GPA between 3.40 and 3.69 who are admitted to SVSU and file the FAFSA. Awards are made automatically through the tiered academic scholarship program with no separate application. Students may also qualify for the Valley Housing Scholarship if living on campus. Renewal requires a 2.5 SVSU cumulative GPA and twenty-four passed credits annually.
