About this scholarship

Travel funding up to one thousand dollars for current full-time Temple undergraduates presenting original research or creative work at an academic conference. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis at least four weeks before travel and require conference acceptance documentation plus faculty endorsement. Eligible expenses include conference city travel, lodging, and registration fees; local Philadelphia travel and meals are excluded. Reimbursement is processed after travel with receipts, and students may receive only one CARAS award per academic year.
